Armagh 1-15 Tipperary 2-8

The long journey to Crossmaglen ended in disappointment with yet another game Tipperary should have won or at best got a draw out of the game . Behind at half time 1-9 to 0-1 Tipperary scored 2-7 in the second half to Armagh 6pts two goals from Barry Grogan brought Tipp level with 7 min to go . The referee sent off George Hannigan for a second yellow just when Tipp were getting to grips with Armagh and a few very soft free,s allowed Armagh to pull away in the end . So its back to Div 3 next year but  Div 2 has been a major development for this team with a win against Meath and a draw against Down and games against Laois and Donegal that Tipp should have won . The last game in this Div is against Westmeath on April 11 in Thurles and then its Kerry also in Thurles in the first round of the Munster Championship
