Best wishes
16 Aug 2019Best wishes to the Tipperary LGFA, Tipperary camogie and the Tipperary senior and under-20 hurlers
It’s a fantastic time to be a supporter of the Blue and Gold and with a number of huge games coming up we want to wish our teams the very best of luck.
Firstly, the Tipperary senior hurlers will line out in Croke Park on Sunday and will be aiming to capture the county’s 28th senior crown against age-old rivals Kilkenny. Liam Sheedy’s men came through a battle for the ages against Wexford in the semi-final and will be hoping to continue this form against Cody’s cats.
Secondly, the Tipperary LGFA side will play Sligo in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny tomorrow, Saturday, at 3pm in the All-Ireland intermediate semi-final. Tipperary last won the intermediate final two years ago in Croke Park and Shane Ronayne’s charges will be hoping to once again reach the decider. Last night the Tipperary starting fifteen was revealed and can be seen below.
Thirdly, the Tipperary camogie sides have two massive games tomorrow in the intermediate and senior All-Ireland championships with both sides in semi-final action. The intermediates face Galway in Cratloe at 2pm while the seniors play Kilkenny in the LIT Gaelic Grounds, Limerick at 5:30pm.
Finally, the Tipperary under-20 hurlers play Cork in the All-Ireland final on Saturday, 24 August at 6pm in the LIT Gaelic Grounds.
Up the Premier!
