Cavan survive late Tipperary rally

NFL DIVISION THREE Cavan 0-16 Tipperary 0-13: CAVAN SEEMED set to win easily but Tipperary notched the final six points to push the game to the wire at Kingspan/Breffni Park.

Points from Tipp’s Brian Coen (17th) and Barry Grogan two minutes later had the sides level, 0-3 to 0-3, before Ronan Flanagan popped up to ease the hosts into a 0-7 to 0-4 interval lead.
