Congratulations Liam Casey
17 Apr 2018We extend our congratulations to Cahir’s Liam Casey who was named on the Sigerson Cup team of the year.
Liam was part of the University College Dublin side, along with Charlie Manton and Jimmy Feehan, that defeated National University of Ireland, Galway 1-13 to 2-9 in February in the Sigerson Cup final. Indeed, the Cahir man fisted the winning point for the Dublin college in the 62nd minute, just a few minutes after kicking the levelling score.
And to top off what has been a great start to 2018, Casey has been named on the Sigerson Cup team of the year at midfield.
Tipperary are also well represented on the hurling team with Brian Hogan, Jason Forde and John McGrath all acknowledged for their superb performances in the Fitzgibbon Cup.
Well done to all concerned.
