Today Templederry Kenyons GAA club unveiled a plaque to Bloody Sunday victim Daniel Carroll

Daniel, a bar manager in Kennedy’s Pub Dublin, was shot as he made his escape from Croke Park on Bloody Sunday and passed away two days later.

His great grand nephews Paul and Stephen Brennan were in attendance and unveiled the plaque on the wall of the community centre in the local GAA grounds.

Today, Mullinahone were defeated by Na Gaeil of Kerry in the Munster junior-A club final today, 3-13 to 1-1. The South men were great ambassadors for the county but came up against a fine side in today’s final.
