Dublin Working Group of the Friends hold their Inaugural Meeting
18 Feb 2017On Wednesday 8th February the Dublin working group of the Friends of Tipperary Football held their inaugural meeting in Chaplin’s Public House on Hawkins’ Street.

A large number of Tipperary people now living in the capital turned up to get involved, make new friends and to play their part in the development of football in their native county. Among those in attendance was 2016 All-Star and Tipperary forward Michael Quinlivan who kindly took on the role of treasurer for the working group.

The group are hoping to hold a golf classic in April and if you would like to enter a team or sponsor a tee box please contact chairperson of the group Jimmy D’Arcy at darcyjim@gmail.com. The group are also planning on holding a table quiz in the near future as well as organising a supporters’ bus for the trip to Crossmaglen for the Allianz National Football League game against Armagh for those living in Dublin.
They plan on holding their next meeting on Wednesday March 1st in Chaplin’s Public House and all Dublin based Tipperary people are welcome to attend.
