Generous Donation Made to Irish Autism Action
08 May 2017A donation of €800 was made by the Dublin working group of The Friends of Tipperary Football to Irish Autism Action
Recently the Dublin working group of The Friends of Tipperary Football held a golf classic at Newlands Golf Club and on the day well known Tipperary supporter Kevin Hanly sold tickets for Irish Autism Action.
Kevin, who himself is autistic and has benefited enormously from his relationship with the Tipperary footballers, was delighted with the donation and commented “I just want to thank everyone involved for their support it really means a lot”.
Kevin is at just about every Tipperary game played, hurling and football, and is always one of the first onto the field to celebrate or commiserate with the players following the full time whistle.
At the golf classic in Thurles last weekend Kevin was presented with the proceeds, on behalf of Irish Autism Action, by Jim McAuliffe.
