Jim Strang & Sons Motors Kilsheelan, Make Generous Gift to the Tipperary Under-20 Team

Today, at Jim Strang & Sons Motors Kilsheelan, David Power, manager of the Tipperary Under-20 football team, was presented with a brand-new Peugeot Partner for the panel to use to carry vital equipment to training and matches.

Such are the modern day demands on teams that gone is the era of simply bringing a set of jerseys and bottles of water to a game and now all sorts of accessories are required, from training poles to exercise bicycles and as such, a state of the art van is a must for any ambitious side.

Jim Strang and Sons are a contemporary ambitious business and make the perfect partners with the equally enthusiastic Tipperary Under-20 footballers.

Speaking today Gina Strang commented that the company “are proud to be associated with Tipperary football which, like ourselves, is going from strength to strength. Peugeot is a fabulous brand just like the Premier footballers and so we make the perfect fit.”

Her father Jim mentioned that “it’s great to be involved with such an ambitious group of players and hopefully they’ll have many great wins throughout the year”.

Manager David Power is delighted with the partnership and wanted “to thank Jim Strang & Sons for sponsoring the van and it shows just how professional our set up is that a company like this wanted to get on board. Their kindness has given everyone involved a massive boost which we will carry throughout the year.”

Also present today at the launch were Tipperary County Board officers Tim Floyd and Joe Bracken, Tipperary Football Committee officers Barry O’ Brien and Hugh Coughlan along with members of the Under-20 management and panel.
