Tipperary Team Named and News from last Thursday’s Table Quiz


The Tipperary team to face Louth in the Allianz National Football League this Sunday has been named and news from last Thursday’s successful table quiz.

This is a massive game for both sides as victory will guarantee promotion to Division Two with the loser requiring a win in their final group match to go up.

Manager Liam Kearns has retained the services of Liam McGrath (Loughmore-Castleiney), Willie Connors (Kiladangan) and Jack Kennedy (Clonmel Commercials) after being introducing them in last match against Offaly.

The Tipperary football team lines out as follows;

4. Willie Connors – Kiladangan
5. Bill Maher – Kilsheelan-Kilcash

Meanwhile in other news the Dublin working group of the Friends of Tipperary Football held a hugely successful table quiz last Thursday evening in Chaplin’s Bar, Hawkins Street. Paul Collins of Today FM was quizmaster on the night and great fun was had by all who attended. We wish to thank Chaplin’s Bar for their hospitality, those who organised the event, the various sponsors, people who kindly donated prizes and of course all those who attended and took part.
