On perfect evening for football in Dr Morris Park, Thurles, Tipperary overcame the challenge of the Garda College, Templemore in an entertaining challenge game this evening. Conor Sweeney grabbed Tipperary’s opening goal after causing mayhem under a long, high dropping ball which ended up in the College net.
Next Tuesday, January 16th, they face the challenge of University College Dublin, in Dr. Morris Park, in their final game ahead of their opening Allianz National Football League encounter with Cork.

The North Tipperary branch of the Friends of Tipperary Football will be holding their official 2018 launch at the Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon, Nenagh this Wednesday, January 10th, at 8pm.
