24 Apr 2017Electric Ireland Munster Minor Championship
Tipperary V Clare
Cusack Park, Ennis
Wednesday 26 April 18:30
On Wednesday evening the Tipperary minor footballers make the trek to Cusack Park Ennis to take on the hosts in the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Championship with a 18:30 throw in time.
Both teams are drinking in the Last Chance Saloon as the losers exit the championship while the victors will go on to compete in the Munster semi-final against one of Kerry, Cork or Limerick, with the pairings to be decided by a draw.
Matt Doherty’s side will be anxious to improve on their previous outing against Cork as they succumbed to a disappointing 1-8 to 3-21 loss. A brief match report from this game can be read here. There is no doubt that Tipperary are much better than what they showed on that occasion and can now showcase their true worth this Wednesday evening.
